The company Gamevice is currently in the process of a lawsuit against Nintendo as the company claims that they allegedly violated a patent for concepts used in the Wikipad. The Wikipad is an Android based tablet and they also provide an add-on controllers for phones and tablets. Gamevice says that the Nintendo Switch and the removable Joy-Cons are too similar to their own vision of a detachable game controller and a device with a “flexible bridge section.” The Wikipad doesn’t even remotely look like the Switch, so it will be interesting to see how this turns out. Thoughts ?
