Microsoft’s Codename Scarlet Consoles Reportedly Coming In 2020

According to a new report by Thurrott, Microsoft will launch the next-generation console in 2020. In the report, Thurrott says the codename refers to "a family of devices," not a single console. Scarlet is supposedly "multiple pieces of hardware" releasing in 2020. While Microsoft is yet to confirm its next-gen hardware's codename or launch year, Xbox head Phil Spencer revealed Sunday that the company is working on an Xbox One successor. He also seemed to preemptively confirm the scuttlebutt that Scarlet will take the form of multiple devices.
