Reports/rumors have surfaced that a remastered collection of the first three Spyro the Dragon games is coming this year. Kotaku is reporting the rumor writing that "multiple sources familiar with the project" are saying that the remaster collection will be comparable to the recent Crash Bandictoot N. Sane Trilogy. The collection will cover the first three games, Spyro the Dragon, Ripto's Rage!, and Year of the Dragon, and will feature a visual overhaul and improvements to the game's original save system. Vicarious Visions, the developer behind the N. Sane Trilogy, is working on the remaster. Kotaku also reports that the game will be announced next month for PlayStation 4 and release this year for Sony's console. The game will then make its way to other platforms in 2019.
