In a conference call regarding Apple’s financial results for its fiscal 2017 third quarter that ended July 1, CEO Tim Cook said that Apple has now sold more than 1.2 billion smartphones. He says that the iPhone 7 is our the company’s most popular smartphone. iPhone 7 Plus sales were up “significantly” in the June quarter compared to iPhone 6s Plus sales in the year-ago quarter, Cook added.
