Former SCEA CEO Says The PS Vita Was A Great Machine, But It Was Too Late

Former CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America, Jack Tretton,  recently spoke with IGN about his time with PlayStation and weighed in with his thoughts on the struggles of the PlayStation Vita. "Now that I don't work there anymore, I think internally it was: 'This is a great machine, it's just too late.' The world has shifted to portable devices that aren't dedicated gaming machines" said Tretton. Tretton went to highlight the success of the PlayStation Portable, it not only brought console like experiences to handheld, but also pulling in older gamers. What are your thoughts on the PS Vita ? I’ve enjoyed my Vita, I just wish there were more triple A titles on the system like God of War on the PSP.
