Nvidia Announces Shield Microconsole


Nvidia has announced the Shield Microconsole. The system is  powered by the Tegra X1, Nvidia says the new Shield Microconsole can stream 4K decoded video at 60Hz. Gamers can also stream titles at 1080p, 60fps via Nvidia's Grid service. The device is scheduled to launch in May for $199. Nvidia says that they will have more than 50 games available at launch, including Portal, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, The Witcher 3, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and Crysis 3, among many others.
