Community Day will take place on Sunday, March 13th. Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew will be featured on the current Community Day, and if players are lucky, they may discover a unique Shiny one. As previously indicated, the event will take place on March 13, 2022, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. local time. Here are the specifics, as provided by Pokemon GO live.
Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew
- Evolve Sandshrew during the event or up to two hours afterward to get a Sandslash that knows the Charged Attack Night Slash.
- Evolve Alolan Sandshrew during the event or up to two hours afterward to get an Alolan Sandslash that knows the Fast Attack Shadow Claw.
Community Day Special Research Story: Gritty and Glacial
- For US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the Sandshrew Community Day–exclusive Special Research story, Gritty and Glacial.
- Stay tuned for when tickets for the Gritty and Glacial Special Research story go live.
Event Bonuses
- 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period.
- Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
