Microsoft has revealed its earnings for the second quarter of its fiscal year 18, with the company's gaming division in particular doing well. Gaming revenue increased 8% from the previous year, which was "driven" by the launch of the Xbox One X console in November according to Microsoft. Hardware revenue itself increased by 14%. Xbox software and services went up 4%, with Live revenue growth and a decrease from software launches as compared to last year.
