Discord is becoming the destination for not only voice chat, but also general community hang-outs and messaging among gamers. The app is taking another step forward on this path by launching official servers for games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Minecraft, Supercell, and Offworld. The official servers are run, managed, and moderated by the developers themselves. This lets them communicate with players, self-police abusive, and try to shape the community in better ways. Developers or publishers interested in signing up for a verified channel can do so on Discord's official website.
