During the Fire Emblem Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia for the Nintendo 3DS. Fire Emblem Echoes is based on gameplay from the second game in the series. As a re-imagining of the NES classic Fire Emblem Gaiden, it will feature free-roaming play and dungeons crawling with enemies, focusing on the story of two main protagonists; Alm and Celica. Brand new amiibo figures in the forms of Alm and Celica will also be released alongside the game’s launch. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will launch on the Nintendo 3DS on May 19.
