Life Is Strange Being Turned Into A Live Action Series

Legendary Digital Studios has announced it is partnering with both Square Enix and dj2 Entertainment to adapt Life Is Strange into a live-action digital series. The series is being co-produced by Dmitri Johnson and Dan Jevons, who both recently produced the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog film coming from Sony and the Dead Rising movies on Crackle. Greg Sielgel (Senior vice president of development at Legendary) announced the project today via press release, saying the game "lends itself perfectly to live-action imaginings." The 3 companies Square Enix, dj2, and Legendary are currently meeting with potential writers for the series. The project currently doesn’t have a director. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this. I really loved Life is Strange, everything from its art style to its characters and more. For me its a game that has that special charm. What also makes the game special is the choices you make. Your version of Life is Strange could be totally different from mine. Taking that charm away for a live action series just doesn’t seem right. But with that being said, if this series makes people want to try out the game, then I’m all for it. What do you think ?
