Today at Blizzcon 2015, Blizzard confirmed Overwatch Origins Edition for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Overwatch will launch on all 3 platforms in Spring 2016. $39.99 will get you the standard edition of Overwatch which includes all 21 heroes announced at this time, while the Origins Edition will cost $59.99 and includes extra content in addition. The Origins Edition includes 5 Origins skins, as well as Overwatch-themed content for Diablo III, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, World of Warcraft, and Starcraft II.

The 5 Origins skins are:
  • Overgrown Bastion
  • Security Chief Pharah
  • Slipstream Tracer
  • Strike Commander Morrison
  • Blackwatch Reyes
And bonus content for other games includes:
  • Mercy's wings for Diablo III
  • Overwatch card backs for Hearthstone
  • Tracer as a hero in Heroes of the Storm
  • A Baby Winston pet for World of Warcraft
  • Player portraits for StarCraft 2
A Collector's Edition was also announced for $129.99, which includes everything in the Origins Edition as well as a visual sourcebook, a soundtrack, and a 12.8" Soldier: 76 statue. Those who pre-purchase Overwatch: Origins Edition will receive the Noir skin for Widowmaker. With the success of Diablo III on consoles, its no surprise that Overwatch is coming to consoles as well. I’d like to play the game before I judge it but it does look like an amazing game. What do you think of Overwatch?
