Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS released on October 3th, and already it has sold over 1 million units in the U.S. Super Smash Bros. is the 10th Nintendo 3DS game to sell 1 million copies in the U.S. Mario Kart 7 holds the record for 3DS sales in the U.S. at 3.62 million units, while Super Mario 3D Land is in second with 3.34 million units sold. At this moment Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS is the best selling hand held title of 2014 as it has sold more than 2.8 million total units worldwide.
