PlayStation Store Gets Discount Code Feature

After the PSN maintenance the other day. The PlayStation Store got an interesting addition: a field for a 10 digit discount code has been added to the cart on the web and mobile storefronts.This feature is normally present in most online stores, with codes distributed as part of promotions, as purchase incentives or simply as bonuses to previous orders, but it wasn’t supported by the PlayStation Store before. At this moment its unknown how this feature will be used or when the codes will started to appear, but considering that we’re approaching the Holiday Season, it’s definitely promising.
