Transferring Data Between PS4s Will Soon Be Easier Than Ever

As we already know that PlayStation 4 software update 4.0, will bring new features to the console. Among those new features will be the ability to transfer data between the multiple systems if you want to make the jump to PlayStation 4 Slim or PlayStation 4 Pro. All you’ll need is an Ethernet cable and the headache of transferring data will be gone. Sony has detailed the transfer process on the PlayStation Blog. You'll be able to copy all the data you’ll need, like games, saves, videos, system settings and more. As of this moment, the process is way more complicated then it needs to be. You have to back up your entire system to an external hard drive and then move it to the other system you want it to exist on going forward or just re-download everything again. A launch date for the software update hasn’t been confirmed yet, but there will be a firmware update coming next week along with the new PlayStation 4 Slim.
