Activision has announced Skylanders Battlecast, which is a free to play card battle game. Battlecast cards will be available digitally and physically. The cards will have an AR effect when scanned into the game. Characters can also duel when scanned together. Skylanders Battlecast will launches with competitive PVP multiplayer and a campaign. Skylanders Battlecast is coming to iOS and Android in 2016.
