The iPhone 12 Reported To Release Later Than Usual, October Or November

According to Bloomberg, CEO of Broadcom, Hock Tan (one of Apple’s suppliers for iPhone Wi-Fi chips) expects the iPhone 12 to arrive one quarter later than usual.  This means they may not arrive until October or November. The delay to the new iPhone release is due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which has slowed Apple engineer travel to China to finalize the devices and required employees to mostly work from home in the early months of 2020.
