Square-Enix brand manager Shinji Hashimoto has assured Final Fantasy fans that 2018 is going to be a big year for the series. In an interview with Square-Enix-owned Youtube account Edamame Arcade Channel , Hashimoto was asked about what 2018 holds. Hashimoto, ever the tease, stated that all of the studios that make up the Japanese publisher are gearing up for a big next year.
Hashimoto followed up, saying "“Next year will be a big one, and we will bring exciting, new Final Fantasy titles to the world.” You can see the interview below, in English. What expectations do you have for Final Fantasy games in 2018? My hope is some news (hopefully a release date) on Final Fantasy VII. Thoughts ?
