YouTube is stepping up its game to compete with the likes of Twitch. YouTube Gaming's sponsorships aka paid subscriptions are open to any eligible creator. So long as you run a gaming channel that's enabled for livestreaming, can earn money and has at least 1,000 subscribers, you too can ask viewers to pay a monthly fee ($5) that unlocks custom emotes, immunity to chat slow mode and participation in sponsor-only chats. What do you think of YouTubes effort to compete with other livestreaming services ?
