Sony Details PS4 Update 5.0

Sony has announced in a blog post have detailed key features in the next PS4 system update. PS4 System Software Update 5.00 makes a variety of changes across the board. A new 'Family' system replaces the old master/sub-account hierarchy and allows for parental controls for individual users. Also if you like to stream on Twitch there will now be 1080p 60fps streaming supported for those who own a PS4 Pro. In addition, you can now be directly linked to communities, and spectator comments can now be made visible in VR mode, allowing broadcasters to connect more easily with their viewers. VR players also get the added bonus of new support for 5.1ch and 7.1ch virtual surround sound when watching DVDs or Blu-rays in cinematic mode. Last be not least there are also some general improvements. Music can now be directly shared in a message, allowing recipients to open the song on their PS4 or mobile device, and Notifications becoming more easily accessible through the Quick Menu. There's now also an option to turn off pop-up notifications while watching TV or other video content, along with disabling messages.
